Operations Updates

  1. Cox and crew who have been issued PLBs or EPIRBs must perform a self test each month and report the results by the last day of the month to FSO-OP (cc FC, VFC).

    The test should only be performed in the first five minutes of any hour.

  2. All "mishaps" on patrol must be reported immediately. A Blank Mishap Worksheet can be found in the District 5sr dropbox. Recommend that coxswains carry a copy on patrols.

  4. Cox and crew should review requirements for Personal Protective Equipment.

  5. Cox and crew, if you think there might be (safe) photo opportunities when working the public, please be should be aware of the Photo Consent/Release form and equip yourself with several printed copies ready for use.
